Billing for 93567

Our cardiologist billed for a 93567 (*3), the insurnace states that we must use another code with this. We talked to the Dr. and he gave us 75605 with modifier 26, rebilled and this is not the correct code. Insurance is now stating that we need another primary code. The Dr. states he did not do a cath.

93567 is an add-on code. You need to report the primary code with it. 75605 is not the primary code for 73567.

If your doctor is stating that he did not do a cath then 93567 is probably not the correct code in the first place.
