Modifiers are used where necessary for all payers.

You should ask your practice to provide training on coding.

On Medicare's website they have a great free training called medlearn. but if you just do a goggle search on Modifier's and Medicare lots comes up. also, website that is really useful is www.hipaaspace.com very useful. Hope this helps. :)
