maximum limit on units claimed

Is there a maximum limit on units claimed? If a CCM follow-up for multiple issues took 4 hrs can I claim 12 units to the additional 180 minutes required?

Each CPT code is assigned an MUE - Medically unlikely edit, "The maximum units of service that a provider would report under most circumstances for a single beneficiary on a single date of service." Look up the MUE on the code in question. 
In addition, since you cannot code 2 units of certain CPT codes, you should consider using a modifier such as a 22 modifier indicating "Increased Procedure Services"
