UnitedHealthcare to Discontinue Coverage of Consultations

Hello, If UHC is discontinuing coverage for consultation codes 99241-99255, then for hospital consults, what
code(s) is suggested to be used?

UHC discontinue of consultation codes 99241-99255

I'm going with 99221-99223, since this is what we have been coding for the past few years after Medicare discontinued consult codes.

Per the March 2019 UHC Network News, Health care professionals and medical practices should instead bill consultation services in accordance with current evaluation and management guidelines published by CMS, therefore 99221-99223 would be appropriate for inpatient services.
