can you report CPT code 27310 LT ARTHROTOMY, KNEE, and CPT code 29874 Lt Arthroplasty knee,
the same site on the same date of service?

A CCI Edit exists with 27310. 29874 is a Column 2 code. If both 27310 and 29874 are submitted, only 27310 will be paid.
- This edit CAN be overridden via CCI-associated modifiers WHEN APPROPRIATE.

What are the procedures done for and were there two separate incisions? Both codes include the removal of a foreign body. You cannot add a modifier to get both codes paid if they were a part of the same procedure.
