11300 & 17110

I had posted a question on this a few days ago but have not heard anything and I am going on vacation. I would like to send this claim in if I could prior to my leaving. We are a primary care physician's office and both of these procedures were done on the same pt, different leasions, at one visit. Would I need a modifier with this and, if so, what would I use.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

11300 and 17110

There are no bundling issues. 17110 has 2.77 RVUs and will be paid in full. 11300 has 1.73 RVUs and should be paid at 50%. According to NCCI edits, it shouldn't require any modifier. And, you wouldn't ordinarily shave and destroy the same lesion.

If they are on different body parts, I would look up the HCPCS location modifiers and use those. If not, I might append modifier 59 on the second. It isn't correct strictly speaking, since the second isn't a bundled service into the first. If it's a Medicare carrier you wouldn't need it. But, some of the private payers may deny it if you don't.

Does anyone else have experience with that?

lesions

If separate techniques were done on different lesions and supported by documentation and medical necessity, code 17110, 11300-59
