unknow malign primary site

Pt has biliary tree and hepatic mets w/unknown primary. He came in for an
exam, a CT will be done this month & pt will restart chemo after a one week
break.

Do I code these dx's as secondary?

If it is documented as metastasis, you would code as secondary. Unknown primary is 199.0 or 199.1.
