Need advise about HIPPA' s 5010 upgrade

I just learned that my organization still hasn't upgraded to HIPPA's 5010. They haven't even run any test. How can I help them understand the importance of being complaint?

What software are they using? There should be settings to upgrade.

We use Accumedic and the IT department doesn't want to proceed because of possible bugs.
