Pulmonary Function Testing

Can someone please tell me if a PFT can be billed on the same day as an Office Visit. We have tried to bill will modifier 25 & 59 on the 94200 which is one of the PFT procedure cause they are stating it is a bundled service with office visit and also we tried to put a modifier 25 on the office but it is still getting denied. Can some one please help me.

I bill pft's with office visits. I put a 25 on ov. You would not put a 25 on a pft code and if you are only billing one pft code you would not need a 59.

Thanks for your help. Are you by anychance using Procedure code 94760. We are using that code and it is being denied by medicare as ( Payment is included in allowance for another service/procedure. Any way you can also help me this this issue.

You cannot bill 94760 with an office visit.

no we do not bill the Procedure code 94760 with an office visit. The PFT procedure codes that we use are as followed 94200, 94726,94375,94729,94760 and we have never gotten paid on the 94760. Becase it gives us the denial code. Can you tell me if these Codes are incorrect to bill.
