Tricare reimburstment

If Tricare does not pay 100% of the Medicare coins or deductible can we bill the pt the difference, like with commercial insurance?

If Medicare and CHAMPVA cover the service, patient will almost always have no
out-of-pocket expense.
If the service is covered by Medicare and not by CHAMPVA, patient will pay Medicare
co-pay.
If the service is not covered by Medicare, but is covered by CHAMPVA, you will pay
CHAMPVA cost share (typically 25%).
