Chief complaint

Can a provider list just "follow up appt" for the chief complaint with no physical complaint?

WE do not except this. However, if we are able to pull it fromt he HPI then that's ok but we then use it as a teaching point as "best practice" during their reviews.

I agree with the above answer. Usually, if it says "follow up" I can find the reason for the visit in the HPI and allow it.
