Psychiatrist Billing privileges

I was recently asked by my supervisor if our psychiatrist are allowed to use 90804,90846,90847 etc..or if they are stricted to use only 90805,90807,90862. I am under the impression that they aren't limited to what psychotherpay codes can be used but am not 100% sure. Can someone help me with this one?

If performed, yes they can.
90804 Individual psychotherapy, insight oriented, behavior modifying
and/or supportive, in an office or outpatient facility, approximately 20 to 30 minutes face-to-face with the patient;

Some patients receive E&M services along with psychotherapy these E&M services involve a variety of responsibilities unique to the medical management of psychiatric patients such as medical diagnostic evaluation (evaluation of comorbid medical conditions, drug interactions, and physical exams) drug management when indicated, physician orders, interpretation of lab or other medical diagnostic studies and evaluations.
