our office billed HCPCS code A4580 received a denial from Medicare. I called medicare and was stole the HCPCS code termed 09-30-2001. What code should we use for casting supplies for podiatry

The response from Medicare is correct. Medicare created Q codes based on the type of cast/splint, anatomic location, age of the patient and plaster vs fiberglass. Review your HCPCS book for an entire list of codes.
