15828 vs 15829

Is 15829 the correct code for a rhytidectomy with SMAS Imbrication...not a full SMAS flap? I understand there are SMAS imbrication and plication procedures which are not as extensive as a full SMAP flap. Do ALL of these qualify for code 15829, or do we code the less extensive procedures with 15828?

Thank You!!

15828 Vs 15829

We can report 15829, if we perform a full SMAS flap; otherwise, please report 15828, if it is not an extensive procedure.

Thank you!!!
