Colonoscopy

If you have a dx of hx of diverticulosis and the patient is going to have a colonoscopy do you use the G0121 providing there is no polypectomy involved?

re: Colonoscopy

G0121 is a screening code for an asymptomatic patient every 10 years. If it is a diagnostic colon you need to use 45378 with 562.10 or whatever is found.
