Fluoroscopy billing

An Anthem representative has advised that after the fluoroscopy equipment cost has been fully paid and all of the depreciation for the equipment has been taken the fluoroscopy code can no longer be submitted by the facility for trigger point injections, facet and sacro-iliac blocks, etc. I have never read of this policy before and cannot find any information regarding this claim. Since the payer never even asks when the equipment was purchased when a claim is filed and overhead and tech support are still expensed, I have a difficult time believing this claim is true. Is this a fact or can fluoroscopy codes be submitted by a facility when appropriately documented? Thank you!
