Need ICD9 Code for Multinodular thyroid goiter

Multinodular thyroid goiter with compressive symptoms and bilateral dominant thyroid nodules proven to be benign by fine needle aspiration..
There is no mention of whether toxic or nontoxic...

Please suggest the appropriate code..

The term non-toxic goiter refers to enlargement of the thyroid that is not associated with overproduction of thyroid hormone or malignancy. (241.1, in case of multiple nodules).
Code 240.9 states Goiter, unspecified. With the information you give, this is code, but would ask additional questions about cause.
