can code the gallbladder disorder based on ultrasound report?

hi

my doctor has sent an ultrasound report to code.

The impression of the test is as follows:
There is mild hepatomegaly with increased echogenicity consistent with fatty infiltration. The gallbladder appears thick-walled with a suggestion of possible calculus, but no indication of acute cholecystitis at the time.

I have coded hepatomegaly based on the report.

Now my question is --
can code the gallbladder disorder based on this report?

if so, can i take
574.20 - Calculus of gallbladder without cholecystitis without obstruction
(or)
575.9 - 575.9 - Unspecified disorder of gallbladder

Please suggest me

Thanks in advance

Ravi

re: can code the gallbladder disorder based on ultrasound report?

You can code the gallbladder disorder. It would not be correct to code 574.20 becasue it is stated as possible. You can use the 575.9 for unspecified disorder of gallbladder. You may also want to consider using 793.3 Nonspecific abnormal findings on radiological exam of biliary tract instead. That would be my first choice.
