Bronchoscopy

If the surgeon does both cell washing and bronchial alveolar lavage during the bronchoscopy, how do I report both? NCCI say I cannot add any modifier.

The base code 31622 is used for the diagnostic portion. The procedure is first performed and if a problem is found, the physician may continue the procedure by performing a surgical intervention: biopsy, needle aspiration, removal or excision, brushing, or alveolar lavage. You need to code what was done so I would bill 31624 only.
