Newborn codes less than 28 days
Newborn seen at office 12 & 17 days after birth. Dx codes for visit were 783.3 - feeding difficulties/mismanagement and 783.22 - underweight. Ins denied "Dx code not typical for patient's age". Haven't found any other codes that would apply. Any ideas? CPT® was 99213.

The code 779.31 is typically used for newborn cases.
