missing family history

I am reviewing an consult record and the physician did not document a family history. I have noted this on my review but can this service be dropped to a subsq hosptal visit? Thanks for any help Renee

Bill a lower level consult. Check the guidelines. From memory, I think 99253 only requires 2 of 3 of past medical, family and social history, but it's late and my memory isn't perfect even when it's early.
