G0444

Is the G0444 can only be billed by a specialist (psychologist) or a PCP can do it too in the office setting? Thanks!

We have billed the G0444 for the PCP who is not a specialist and have been reimbursed by Medicare. I refer to the MLN Matters Number MM7637 Screening for Depression in Adults.

Can I bill G0444 and an E/M code? Do I have to use a mod 25 with it or not? Thanks!
