Medicare - code 92950 (CPR) has a MUE of "3". This means it cannot be submitted more than 3 times in a calendar day. But, if nurses only, the physician cannot bill (hospital billing). Has to be performed at different sessions, so, the notes may be reviewed. How much time elapsed between procedures will be the issue. Modifier -59 on subsequent CPR (units may be missed by payer), some payers may want modifier 76 instead of -59. Monitor reimbursement.
