Medi-cal secondary billing

I have a claim for a stent CPT® 92928 LD that was billed to Blue Cross as Primary carrier and applied to deductible. We sent to Medi-Cal as secondary with copy of primary Explanation of benefit however claim was denied by Medi-Cal because they do not accept CPT® 92928 LD they still use old code of 92980 LD. If I bill 92980 LD to Medi-Cal with EOB from primary Blue Cross the codes would not match. What do you suggest? Has this happened to anyone else?
