Doc did a destruction of skin lesions and knee inj on the same day. I'm not sure what modifier to use? I'm thinking about using modifier 59.

Where were the skin lesions and why was injection given?

The reason for the visit was lesion removal. So, doc did cauterized lesions on the face (10 SK) and on the neck (2 SK). Pt was dx with OA of the knee & has been given a shot before and complains of knee pain that day, so doc gave him a shot on the same day.

This is multiple procedures (51) and link diagnosis to each procedure code. No E/M because patient was scheduled for lesion removal and then had an injection for condition that was know to physician.
