coding for closure of excision of pilonidal cysts

I have a physician that would like to bill for a flap closure (14000) along with an excision of pilonidal cyst (11772). As I understand it, there are not any CCI edits for these two codes, however, in the surgery coding companion, it states that closure is included in the code (11772) and not to bill separately. Can anyone tell me any advice on this situation?

per the Coders Desk Reference 2015, it states:

the physician uses a scalpel to completely excise the cystic tissue. Local soft tissue flaps(i.e. zplasty, y-v plasty, myofasciocutaneous flap) may be required for the closure of a large defect or the wound may be left open to heal by ganlation. so from what i am reading these flaps are part of the procedure 11772. hope that helps:)
