58558 done in the office

When a specialist performs a hysteroscopy in an office setting, is there a separate code that can be used to bill for the technical/professional component ?

I assume you are asking if you can bill a facility fee? No, in the physician office you bill only the professional component. You get paid more for the service than if your physician had done the service in an ASC or in the hospital, because of the site of service payment differential.

The code doesn't have a professional/technical split in the Physician Fee Schedule.
