Need CPT Code

Is there an appropriate CPT to use for the removal of a feeding jejunostomy tube? This is to be done outpatient under anesthesia and I need a code to submit for presurgical authorization. Would appreciate input.

Need CPT code

There could be more to this procedure than you have been told. For surgical excision of the fistula look at 43880. Show this code to your surgeon and see if that is what he is doing.

J tube

Included in E/M, if outside the global period. What type of anesthesia?

more info re: removal jejunostomy tube

Patient still in global period. Returned to OR under local anesthesia as an out patient to remove "stuck" jejunostomy feeding tube. There was no incision and no closure necessary, just gentle dilation of tract. Would some sort of "removal of foreign body" code work? Complications involving return to OR are billable as I understand it. Thank you for suggestions.
