Partial Amputation and Open Fracture

I work for an Orthopedic office

2 year old caught finger in door, went to ER and diagnosed with partial amputation of ring finger, sutured and told to follow up with us.

Assessment: Open fracture plus suture removal

Do I code this as an open fracture of the ring finger and code for the suture removal.

The reason I am asking is that the first time will saw the patient the Assessment: Partial Amputation with closure

I am a little confuse on this one. Any help is appreciated.
