Hemaglobin A1c

One of our provider is on an "A1c" kick. Am I right that Medicare will only pay for A1c with a diagnosis of diabetes?

There is no LCD for 83036.

You are incorrrcet. There is an NCD for 83036 with several diagnosis on it. I can fax it to you if you will give em a fax number.
