multiple CPT® codes

I have a patient that was seen for subsequent hospital care in the am by one doctor and then expired before midnight and pronounced by another doctor of the same practice? I am not sure how to code this one since it was before midnight.

If the same group, only one visit is reportable. You can bill for either one that is documented, but not both.
