bronchoscopy w/ thoracoscopy

Operation: Fiberoptic brnochoscopy, right Thoracoscopy.....

I am not familiar with Thoracic surgery. Can we bill the Bronchoscopy and Thoracoscopy separately? I have not seen anything that says it can't be done. However, I am thinking b/c of a more endoscopic procedure was performed, the Bronchoscopy cannot be performed.


Any thoughts!!!

Is there a medically necessary diagnosis for each scope procedure? These are 2 separate areas.
