Most of the time this procedure is done in the office which the POS would be 11. I cannot see any reason this would have to be done in a outpatient service unless the patient has stenosis or other complications and cannot tolerate the procedure w/out being under anestheisia, then you would have to submit the documentation to support this. Aslo if you supplied the pessary you should be billing for the pessary HCPC's code A4562 unless the patient brought in her own.
