ROS and Exam

If 14 systems are reviewed is it necessary to necessary for the exam to be 2-7 for a 99203.

99203 requires a detailed history and a detailed exam.

A detailed history is 4 HPI elements, 2-9 systems in the ROS and 1 or 2 of PFSH, depending on the code category.

A detailed exam is 12 elements from 1995 or an extended exam of 2-7, some payers use 5-7.

Having ROS doesn't negate the need for the exam.
