E & M code 99291 in office setting

Hello,
I code for a group of Critical Care/Pulmonary physicians. A patient went into critical care during office visit so the Dr. billed 99291 while another physician withing this same practice billed 99223 beacuse the patient was subsequently admitted into the hospital that same day.
How should this scenario be coded? please help!
