Global package

Pt was seen May 6th for Incision and drainage on his back. Pt came back 4 days later to recheck the wound. Do I have to code 99024 since he was seen within 10 day global period? Thanks!

If the I & D was billed with a code that has a 10 day global and the patient came back within that 10 days, then YES, you would bill 99024.
