Billing Drugs to Medicare

Hi,
I'm working for FQHC

Can we bill drugs like Metformin HCL 1000mg Tabs #100 to Medicare?

No that has to be billed to Medicare Part D by the pharmacy. If you are giving it to them as a 340B drug then they have to pay the medication cost and a small dispensing fee is allowed. You may not bill medicare for it. Hope this helps.
