Code J1094 Dexamethasone 4 mg

We are having claims rejected by BC of NC with this code & NDC 00517-4905-25 with "PLEASE BE ADVISED PER OUR PRICING SOURCE J1094 IS INACTIVE". I was told by BC that this NDC has not been manufactured since 2006. We are still buying it & according to the NDC website it is still active. Is this just a BC error? What should I do?

One of the problems with this drug is that it has been listed as discontinued by the FDA, even though it is still in circulation. When did you start to see rejections? You may have to bill it with J3490 with the invoice.
