Podiatry visits

Do podiatry visits need an E/M code when a patient is seen for nail debridement, trimming of lesions/callus or heel injections???

Never done podiatry but if he is meeting all qualifications then I certainly would charge. I would put a 25 modifer on the visit and if possible a different diagnosis from the other service you are rendering.
