allergy testing

After the antigens have been mixed for a patient for immunotherapy treatment, what is the proper code or way to bill for a vial saftey test

How are they performing the "test"? I guess the other question is why are they performing the test?

Is this the first time the patient is receiving immunotherapy?


In our practice, the only scenario that I could think of that would closely match is if we are mixing the serum for a patient to take elsewhere or if the patient has a new vial mixed to take . They would receive the first dose in our office to make sure there's no reaction. We would bill the normal injection.
