skin tag & immunization

Pt came in for a skin tag removal. Doc give pt a flu shot on the same day of service. Do I need a modifier? thanks!

Don't see why you need a modifier. The diagnosis will be linked to each service code.

I agree with Nancy.

Some payers have odd edits that may require modifier 25 on the administration, but it is not required from a coding perspective.
