J0696 is the HCPCS code that has to be used for rocephon injection.and it includes 250 mg as one unit and is available in 250mg,500mg,750 mg,1000mg 250mg constitutes 1 unit and J0696 is coded for it.If patients is given 500 mg then J0696 has to be coded twice as two units
