Hi,

We have some confusion at my facility with the HCPCS code for subclavian device codes. We are being rejected for payment using C1891, based on operative narrative. A fellow coder suggested using C1751 or C1788. Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

HCPCS code

Is this for a PAC? I have always used C1751 or C1788 and never had a problem with either.
