Ros

Hello everyone...

I have a doc that states for the ROS for a patient...

In her review of systems today, she offered no other new focal complaints.

That was it- can this be counted as complete?

ROS "no other new focal complaints"

I wouldn't count it. The guidelines specifically say that after all the positives and pertinent negatives have been explicitly listed, then, if the physician has reviewed at least ten total systems, the MD can say, "All others were reviewed and are negative" which is different from "no other new focal complaints"
