Hep Lock Coding Mandatory?

Do Hep Locks need to coded for visits? Can anyone refer me to guildelines or documentation regarding Hep Lock Coding?

Ex: Patient is being seen for abd pain and needs blood work done asap, so hep lock is place to draw labs but is left just in case. later, Blood work results return normal, so hep lock is than removed. IM inj is given and patient is discharged.

The Hep lock is considered access to blood draw and not separately billed.
