ABPM - Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring

Are any of you great coders out there coding the 24 hr blood pressure 93784 ? My question is this allowed by most payers? What if the patient already has the diag of hypertension? Thank you for your help!

ABPM is covered only for those patients with suspected white coat hypertension (796.2) - (Medicare National Coverage Decision). Other payers may allow HTN codes.
