Would either of these statements be coded as colonscopy with abaltion?

"Fulguration to ablate the lesion by snare was successful."

"Vaporization for tissue destruction using snare was successful."

Yes; 45385, is the technique used with ablation as you describe. The snare technique is reported using code 45385

Why would we not use CPT® 45383? Do you have any reference infomation I can use?

Because, the code description stated "not amenable to snare technique".
