Inpatient hospital visits

I do billing for a large group of hospitalists. Often, a patient will be seen by one of my physicians at 11:00 p.m. The next day, another one of my physicians will see the patient during the day. Can they both bill for an inpatient visit within 24 hrs of each other?

These are different dates of service and all medically necessary visits can be billed on each separate date of service.
