malignant and premalignant lesion coding

Excision of skin lesion 1.1 cm in diameter returns with a pathology report of being both squamous cell and actinic keratosis. How would this be billed?

I would code the scc as the primary dx and the actinic keratosis as the secondary. As far as CPT® codes, I would go with a Exc code from the malig section. I hope this helps!
