Dehiscence of wound, Total Knee Replacement. Debridement of wound, partial closure and application of VAC dressing with intra articular fluid aspiration and cultures. Do I just code the VAC? Beth

Did you look at code 13160? If performed in global requires return to OR to be billed. We are at a disadvantage here because the code(s) should be selected following review of procedure note. Do not code VAC with a surgical procedure.
